Stanislav BiniÄ�ki ensemble at the Mikser festival

Stanislav Binički Art ensemble performed last night at Savamala at the Mikser festival which is held for the sixth time.

The slogan of the festival is "Sustainable Utopia", because according to Maja Lalic, Director of the Festival, they wanted to invite creative people from various fields to contribute to the sustainable utopia – a better and happier society. However, in the meantime, the festival has received a subheading "Solidarity", because it is the bond that united us all in the days of the disaster that has recently stricken the region.

"Buy a ticket, show solidarity", the organizers of the festival say. Anyone who has decided this evening to enjoy good music, he also did a good deed.

In the introductory part of the evening, the public could watch at a short film about big and small heroes who show solidarity on their way and contributed by assisting the flood-stricken people. Then they could hear and dance at some of the songs which the Stanislav Binički ensemble performed.

Under the baton of Major Igor Mitrovic and maestro Pavle Medakovic, the orchestra played pop music, hits such as Can’t take my eyes of you, Spanish flue, A man and woman, Soul bossa nova, All you need is love ... Mary Draskic, one of the organizers of the festival, was a vocalists in some compositions.

The Mikser festival will last until Sunday, 8th June, a many interesting art programmes will be performed at various locations in Savamala.
