Second Lieutenant Veljko (Bosko) Popadic was found dead last night in the Military Boarding High School. It is assumed that it was suicide, but the exact circumstances and cause of the event will be known after the investigation.
The investigation was conducted by representatives of the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade and the authorities of the Military Police.
Second Lieutenant Veljko Popadic was born in Prijepolje on 19th March 1988. He was in the Serbian Armed Forces from 10 September 2011. He was on duty in the Military High School.
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic has sent a telegram of condolences to the family of the killed.
