Minister of Defence in Vranje

Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic has visited today in Vranje the barracks of "The First Infantry Regiment of Prince Milos the Great" and "Jumko" company.

In "The First Infantry Regiment of Prince Milos the Great", Brigadier General Zoran Lubura, Commander of the 4th Army Brigade briefed the Defence Minister and his associates on the contents of the Memorial Room of the 4th Army Brigade, where, among other things, there are the names of 5440 people who gave their lives for the freedom of their country.

Minister Gasic expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to visit the Memorial Room in which the memory of soldiers, policemen and citizens of Vranje and Pcinj district, who were killed in wars of 1878 in the period from the liberation of Vranje from the Turks until 2003, is preserved from oblivion.

In the Holding Company "Jumko", Minister Gasic visited the plants of the factory in which military camouflage uniform M-10 is produced. In his talks with Goran Djordjevic, Acting General Director, they discussed the continued cooperation of that company with the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
