Foreign military representatives in "Moma Stanojlovic"
Foreign military representatives accredited in Serbia, visited on May 22 the Aeronautical Plant "Moma Stanojlovic" in Batajnica.Colonel Despot Jankovic, Director of the Plant, thanked guests for their help during the floods in our country. He informed them about the development of the Aeronautical Plant, its scope of work, capacities and developments.
Colonel Anton Tunja, President of the Belgrade Association of Military Attachés, expressed sorrow for the victims that our country had in an emergency situation and emphasized that the their countries will to continue to provide assistance for the faster recovery of Serbia from the effects of flooding.
During the visit, foreign military representatives visited the weather station of the Department for overhauling missiles, testing of special equipment of the aircraft, and the Department of helicopters and plant for aircraft testing equipment and test stations for "Viper" and "MM" engines.
They were most interested in repairs of missile systems and types of Russian-type aircraft, modernization of the establishment, as well as for cooperation with civil sector. They also discussed the possibilities that the Plant develops into a regional centre.
