Handover of the Military Club in Pirot



Commission of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces today has handed over the Military Club to the municipality of Pirot, according to the agreements signed between the Directorate for Property of the Republic of Serbia and the municipality of Pirot.

It is a building which was built in 1981 and is located in the centre of Pirot.

After four unsuccessful public announcements, Assembly of the Municipality of Pirot has accepted the transfer of the right of public ownership from the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Defence as a user, over the Military Club to public ownership of the Municipality of Pirot, with a remuneration of EUR 843,853.50, in RSD counter value.

By the same decision it has pledged to transfer the right of public ownership of the Municipality of Pirot, over eleven apartments located in Pirot (nine two-bedroom apartments; a one-bedroom apartment and a three-bedroom apartment, with a total area of 645 m2) to public ownership of the Republic of Serbia, and its market value was established by the Tax Administration of the Ministry of Finance in the amount of EUR 274,710.68 at the official middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day of the assessment.

The difference between the market value of the real estate in the amount of EUR 569,142.82 in RSD counter value, the Municipality of Pirot will pay in 60 equal monthly instalments of EUR 9485.72 in RSD counter value, according to the official middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day of the payment on account of the budget of the Republic of Serbia.
