As part of the "Psychological first aid" campaign, on 23rd May 2014, an SOS call centre was opened for the population affected by the floods, and in cooperation with Telekom Serbia. Call to this number will be free, and the phone number will be used solely for the purposes of psychological first aid to the affected population.

Experts trained for the work on SOS line will be on duty on the telephone line. All persons that feel the consequences for their physical and psychological health in any way can call this number and get the help of experts on duty at the SOS line, who will help them to overcome the crisis and give them further instructions.

SOS phone number for the psychological first aid is the following:
- for adults and young people – 0800 111 111, open every day from 12h to 20h
- for children and parents – 0800 123 456, which is at the same time the number of the Serbian National Children's line NADEL and it will be open 24 hours

Experts who have not applied yet and wish to contribute to the "Psychological first aid" campaign can give their data on the telephone numbers 064 8743039 and 011 3609101.

The public, by the way, is already familiar with the "Psychological first aid" campaign where psychologists, psychiatrists and other trained professionals are engaged in providing psycho-social support to the population affected by the floods.

Joining forces, the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs, Ministry of the Interior, Human Resources Management Agency of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade City Administration, the Red Cross and UNICEF, supported this action.

Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Media and Communication, UNICEF and the Centre for Interactive Pedagogy, Secretariat for Health and Secretariat for Social Protection, Belgrade City Administration, Military Medical Academy, Serbian National Children's Line – NADEL and other medical and academic institutions made this campaign operational.
