COMMUNICATION



At the family home in Begec, Vladimir Capelja, professional soldier from the Second Pontoneer Battalion of the River Flotilla committed suicide from his private-owned weapon, on 2nd May, around 22:30 hours.

On-site investigation was conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, under the authority of the Prosecutor of the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad Milorad Trosic, in the presence of the military police.

Vladimir Capelja was born in Novi Sad in 1984. He was married and had two children. He served in the Serbian Armed Forces from 2009.

Bratislav Gasic, Minister of Defence, and General Ljubisa Dikovic, Chief of General Staff sent telegrams of condolence to the family of the deceased.
