Musical and theatrical event "Behest" in National Theatre in Niš



At the National Theatre in Nis, "Stanislav Binički" Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence and "Kolo" National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances of Serbia performed a musical stage fresco "Behest" about the suffering and victory of Serbia in the First World War.

The attractive musical and theatrical event, made to commemorate the centenary of the Great War, was attended by Lieutenant General Aleksandar Zivkovic, Army Commander and his associates, Brigadier General Zelimir Glisovic, Commander of the 3rd Army Brigade, Aleksandar Cvetkovic, Head of Nisava Administrative District and several hundred members of the Nis garrison and citizens of Nis.

The citizens of Nis warmly welcomed the participants in the programme and were specially delighted by tracks from the literary and musical heritage related to suffering and victory in the First World War. The "Stanislav Binički" Art Ensemble was conducted by Pavle Medakovic.
