Chief of General Staff visits the Czech Republic
Delegation of the Serbian Armed Forces, led by General Ljubisa Dikovic, Chief of General Staff, is visiting the Czech Republic.General Dikovic has met today with Lieutenant-General Petr Pavel, Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. Generals Dikovic and Pavel discussed bilateral military cooperation, with a focus on intensifying cooperation between the two militaries in the areas of education and training, logistics and development of CBRN defence capabilities. They also discussed the issues related to the preparation for participation in multinational operations and combat groups of the European Union.
During the day, General Dikovic also met with Martin Stropnicky, Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, and continuing the visit he will make a tour of the Aircraft Repair Enterprise Malesice and memorial complex and the Serbian military cemetery in Jindřichovice.
