Defence Minister extends best wishes on the occasion of the day of Military Academy



I extend best wishes to cadets, students and the professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces in education, professional development and service in the Military Academy on the occasion of 18 March – the Day of the Military Academy.

Military Academy, with its rich tradition, during 164 years of its existence and work, is the foundation of the Serbian military education and valuable achievement as a modern military educational institution, which today trains and educates personnel for the needs of our defence system, but also for the partner countries.

As an important resource of the higher education system of the Republic of Serbia, Military Academy qualifies new generation of officers, who are able to use their knowledge, skills, work and energy to respond to contemporary challenges and thus provide a full contribution to the preservation of peace and security in the country and the world.

I am extending my best wishes on the occasion of your holiday, with a wish that you continue to carry out your professional duties, keep the justifiably acquired status of a respectable institution, a member of the University of Defence, and keep achieving the outstanding results in teaching, scientific research and development of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and the defence system as a whole, in the future.
