Flats for military pensioners



Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured today has handed over the keys of the apartments to nine retired members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. Handing over the keys in the premises of the Fund was attended by Vlada Antonijevic, Director of the Fund, Brigadier General Retired Veljko Todorovic, Chairman of the Managing Board and Lieutenant General Retired Ljubomir Draganjac, President of the Association of Military Pensioners of Serbia.

The Director of the Fund said that many of the pensioners whose housing issue has been resolved today, were waiting for the apartment for more than 20 years, and announced that in the second half of this month, the Board will also adopt a decision to distribute 18 apartments more.

Funding for the compensation of a part of the costs of housing was provided by the Ministry of Defence, while the Fund undertook to provide the apartments.
