Greetings by Minister of Defence on the occasion of the Day of the Military Medical Academy



I wish to congratulate all the members of the Military Medical Academy on the 2 March – the Day of the institution, as well as the 170th anniversary of its existence and work.

The long and rich tradition of the Military Medical Academy is a pride of the Serbian military health care and valuable legacy for today's modern institution of national importance, with an enviable international reputation, one of the largest and most respected military hospitals in South Eastern Europe.

In this year of jubilee you are admitting the sixth generation at the Medical Faculty, continuing with technical and technological innovations, introducing new methods in almost every branch of medicine, achieving visible results in scientific and research work and participating in the medical teams of the Serbian Armed Forces in multinational operations, promoting our acquired reputation in our country, the region and the wider international level.

I congratulate you on this jubilee, wishing you to continue with a professional, humane and ethical carrying out your tasks, keeping the status of our respected health institution and achieving the outstanding results in the health-care system, the defence system of our country and improvement of the international reputation of your knowledge and skills.
