"Stanislav Bini�ki" Art Ensemble at the Tourism Fair in Belgrade



"Stanislav Binički" Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence had performance today at the opening of the 36th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade. Many visitors at the Fair enjoyed the military marches "March on the Drina", "There far away" "March of the Duke Stepa", "King's dance" and "Officer's dance", performed under the baton of Pavle Medakovic.

Today's performance was just the first of many performances of the members of the Art Ensemble at this year's Tourism Fair.

Apart from the first day dedicated to the celebration of the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War, on the second day, "Stanislav Binički" Ensemble will evoke by the music the spirit of Belgrade in the mid-20th century, to commemorate 60 years of the establishment of the Tourist Organisation of Belgrade.

On the third day of the fair they announced the promotion of Savamala, environmental entity of Belgrade as it once was and that could be more appealing and interesting to the citizens of Belgrade and tourists. Music from the period between the two wars will be performed again by "Stanislav Binički" Ensemble.

Within the promotion of Belgrade on the rivers, on the fourth day of the Fair, Tourist Organization of Belgrade will announce events to be held on the rivers and on the banks in our city. On the stage in Hall 4, "Stanislav Binički" Art Ensemble will perform a repertoire of music that captures the spirit of life on the rivers.
