Minister of defence congratulates the day of the IT service



To all members of the IT department I congratulate 21 February - Day of Service.

As one of the youngest members of the Army of Serbia, the proof that you the new defense technologies is adapting to the information space , which has changed fundamentally over the past five decades going beyond state borders and time limitations.

The conditions of rapid scientific and technological developments and the changing security environment has imposed additional requirements of continuous development and protection of command and information systems , in the context of technology , training and international standards , as well as awareness of individual users .

The application of modern information technology to improve the function of command and control is inconceivable without organization and qualified personnel , which is something you have confirmed in the past.

I am sure that you will continue to professionally carry out the tasks set before you and achieve outstanding results on the construction and development of IT support and service in general in which I wish you a lot of success .
