Meeting between Chief of General Staff and Commander of KFOR



A high-level meeting of the Joint Commission for the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement has been held today in the "Film City", the KFOR base in Pristina. At this meeting, General Ljubisa Dikovic, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, and Major General Salvatore Farina, the Commander of KFOR, discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija in the Ground Safety Zone, as well as further cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR.

It is the second meeting of the Chief of SAF General Staff and the Commander of KFOR since the Italian general took over command of international troops in Kosovo and Metohija in September 2013.

After the official talks, the delegation of the Serbian Armed Forces led by General Dikovic visited Decani Monastery.

Joint Commission for the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement is composed of commission of KFOR Command and the commission of representatives of the security forces of the Republic of Serbia. Meetings of the Joint Commission for the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement have been held regularly at various levels since 1999 for the purpose of the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement.
