State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic opened today in Belgrade, 7 Sarajevo Street, military clothing and souvenirs shop. The opening ceremony was attended by the Assistant Minister for Material Resources Jasminka Todorov.

Welcoming the first visitors, assistant director of the Dedinje Military Establishment for trade in uniforms and intermediate goods, Branimir Teodosijevic, pointed out that in order to popularize and promote the Serbian Armed Forces, the idea was to open such a store in the centre of the city to sell, besides the items of official and ceremonial uniforms which are intended for active military personnel, souvenirs and items with markings of the Serbian Armed Forces.

- It may be particularly interesting for the customers, especially collectors, the fact that after 30 years we have put on sale miniature replica of medals from the time of Tito's Yugoslavia – Teodosijevic said adding that their prices are affordable and the available range of products is intended for a wide range of customers, such as jackets, tracksuits, t-shirts and souvenirs with military markings.

This is the first "Army Shop" of the Serbian Armed Forces which is clearly seen in the shop window in Sarajevska Street with models of M10 camouflage uniform and replica uniforms from 1924 worn by majors, lieutenant colonels and colonels. Particular attention is drawn to models and model airplanes "Galeb", "Jastreb", "Utva" and MiG-29, as well as popular "aviator jackets" and home made "Vietnamese jackets", and several models of waterproof footwear.
