99th anniversary of Kolubara battle
In Lazarevac today , with full military and state honors , 99 anniversary of the Battle of Kolubara in the First World War was marked. Wreaths at the memorial tomb in honor of Serbian , Austro-Hungarian and Hungarian soldiers were laid by the Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic , who led the civil ceremony marking the battle .

Wreath at the mausoleum were also laid by representatives of the associations who cherish the achievements of the liberation war, representatives of the embassies of Austria , Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and local government officials .
Speaking at a ceremony in Lazarevac , Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that the Memorial Church of St. Dimitrije with the mausoleum is the resting place of thousands of soldiers.
" Memorial Chapel in Lazarevac is a rare example of humanity of a people who, with his soldiers buried the enemy soldiers as well ," Dacic said as these bones oblige us to take only one path , one where Europe will know of no wars.

According to him , today, it is just as important for the Serbian future to live for Europe and Serbia the same way our ancestors died for it.
In the crypt of the Memorial Church of the tomb in St. Dimitrije Church in Lazarevac about 40,000 casualties Serbian and Austro-Hungarian troops were laid to rest .
