Cooperation within PELT program



In line with the training and testing of personnel in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia in the field of English Language Teaching ( PELT ), today at the British Council in Belgrade a meeting was held with the representatives of the Donor Program PELT , where the Action Plan support of donor countries for the period from 2014 to 2015 was presented.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and military representatives of PELT Program donor countries as well as representatives of the British Council in Belgrade.

The purpose of the PELT is to establish an effective , long-term and stable system of studying, testing and evaluation of English language in the MoD and according to STANAG 6,001th

In cooperation with representatives of donor countries PELT Programme and the British Council , in the past five years , based on the defined form of training in the implementation of the requirements for language skills developed system of intensive and half intensive courses levels 1 , 2 and 3 , as well as system testing English language for members MoD and the STANAG 6,001.

PELT was a partnership project of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the donor countries: the Kingdom of Norway, Great Britain , Denmark, Sweden , the Netherlands and the United States .
