Unexploded bomb from WWII wil be deactivated in Nikinci



Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic visited the site in 36 Budimska Street in Belgrade, where an unexploded aerial bomb from the Second World War was found.

Teams of the Ministry of Interior’s Sector for Emergency Situations Ministry 's looked into the possibilities for removing and neutralizing the device safely , on which occasion Prime Minister Ivica Dacic remarked during his visit to the site that the bomb would be removed tonight and deactivated at the military training ground Nikinci near Sremska Mitrovica.

The bomb was found during construction work at a depth of about six meters. The site has been secured , and residents of a nearby building have been evacuated.
