DRG meeting
In the House of Guards in Topcider a regular meeting of the Serbia - NATO Defence Reform led by Deputy Minister for Defence Policy Miroslav Jovanovic was held today.The meeting was attended by the Head of the Strategic Planning Department of Security Policy also the executive coordinator of the Group's general -major general prof Mitar Kovac , work table heads, representatives of NATO , the military representatives of 21 member countries of the EU , NATO and Partnership for Peace , as well as representatives of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade .
The activities that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces implemented from June to November 2013 were presented , with the aim of achieving the goals of the partnership within the Partnership for Peace . Also, the participants were informed about the level and number of engaged members of MoD and SAF in multinational operations mandated by the UN and EU .
Assistant Minister for Defense Policy Miroslav Jovanović pointed out participation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in the implementation of projects that ensure the stability of the defense qualitative and quantitative indicators of collaborationsystem , and with the Ministry of Defence Government ministries , especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance .The intention that the Republic of Serbia to continue active involvement in the mechanisms of the Partnership for Peace was emphasized , as well as the cooperation with all international actors , in accordance with current good practice .
