New appointments in SAF



On the proposal of the Minister of Defence Nebojsa Rodic, with the aim of institutional strengthening and developing of the functional capabilities of the Army of Serbia , Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic made the decrees on the appointing the following officers :

1. Major-General Mr. Goran Radovanovic , as a new director of Defence Inspectorate ( so far has served as the deputy commander of the Joint Operations Command of the SAF GS)
2. Major General Jovica Draganic , appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed forces ( so far he has been the director of the Defence Inspectorate )

3. Brigadier General Slavoljub Janicijevic , the deputy commander of the Joint Operations Command of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces ( so far at the duty of the Chief Directorate for intelligence and reconnaissance activities of the Serbian Armed Forces GS )

4. Brigadier General Ilija Todorov , as Chief of the Directorate of Intelligence and reconnaissance activities of the Serbian Army (previously the Commander of the Special Brigade )

5. Colonel Zeljko Ninkovic , as Chief of Logistics of the General Staff of the Serbian Army (so far on duty as Acting Chief of Logistics Staff of the Army of Serbia)

6. Colonel Stanko Vasiljevic , Chief of Staff of the Training Command ( so far on the position of Chief of the Department in the Directorate of Training and Doctrine Command J -7 ) ,

7. Brigadier General Jelesije Radivojevic , the Commander of the Special Brigade (previously Chief of Staff of the Training Command ) and

8 Colonel Peter Latković , the Commander of the Central Logistics Base ( so far on the position of Chief of Cabinet of the SAF GS).

The decrees to officers appointed to general duties were presented by the Serbian Army Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic , at a ceremony in the SAF GS .
