Conclusion of the "Capability-Based Planning – Capability Profiles" Workshop
Organised by the Strategic Planning Department of Defence Policy Sector, the "Capability-Based Planning – Capability Profiles" Workshop was held from 30th September to 4th October. The purpose of the seminar was to exchange experiences in the field of planning based on capabilities, with a focus on developing capability profiles and methods of determining the gaps in capabilities.The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Centre for Civil-Military Relations, Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, USA, and is part of the planned activities within the competence of the Serbia - United States Steering Committee for the reform of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia.
Lecturers from the Centre for Civil- Military Relations, Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey were Jan Murumets, Richard Carrow and Glen Grant, and participants in the seminar were representatives of the organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
