Talks on partner goals
Bilateral talks on the PARP draft of the assessment of partnership objectives in 2013 of the Republic of Serbia was held on 4 and 5 September at the Ministry of Defence.The aim of discussion was the harmonization of content for the purpose of preparing a draft assessment and partnership goals for Political and Partnership Committee, as well as multilateral consultations that will be held on 8th October 2013 in Brussels.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Defense for Policy Miroslav Jovanovic and Chief of the Strategic Planning Major General Prof. Mitar Kovac.
The talks were attended by representatives of the organizational units of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, as holders of partnership goals and participants in their achievement in their jurisdiction.Four-member NATO delegation led by Frank Boland, Director of the Directorate of NATO forces planning , and talks were also attended by the head of the NATO Liaison Office in Belgrade, with associates.
During the conversation, the content of the draft of Assessment and Partnership Goals for 2013 was successfully agreed upon, which will soon be submitted for verification to MoD.
