Seminar on the work of personnel service
In the House of Guards in Topcider a seminar on human resources where the representatives of the government and the department responsible for the status and personnel issues at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army are participating .On opening the event, Deputy Minister of Human Resources Jovan Mijaković stressed that it is the second seminar of this type, which is focused on planning and career development of members of the Army of Serbia and the new Law on the Army of Serbia that will ensue.
- Law on the Army of Serbia passed in 2008 had certain shortcomings, and initiated a number of activities for the adoption of his amendment - said Deputy Minister Mijaković noting that, with this in mind, the drafting of a new law that would create the conditions for planning and environment in which the members of the Serbian forces live and work will eliminate all the shortcomings that have been observed .Planning and career development of members of the Army of Serbia, according to him , are of crucial importance for their continued progress as one of the core of the principle of the military profession .
Speaking about the importance of the semina, the Chief of Personnel Department of Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General Dragoslav Lackovic , said that the main tasks in the process of human resource management at the Ministry of Defence and the Army of Serbia at the moment are harmonization of personnel with organizational structure of commands and units, providing appropriate categories of staff and planning, innovation and upgrading of existing normative- legal acts .The seminar was organized by the Department of Human Resources Division of Human Resources.
