Besides representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the ceremony of handing over the donation was attended by representatives of local government of Lajkovac, and the embassies of the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and other guests and invitees.

After consecrating bells, and wreaths were laid to pay respect onto the crypt of Serbian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers killed in November in 1914 in the Battle of Kolubara. The mausoleum in Celije is a rare example of humanity of one nation who buried together with their own soldiers the enemy’s army’s soldiers.

The Monastery of St. George is located at the foot of the famous Vrace-hill, on whose slopes the fiercest battle, the famous Battle of Kolubara, as led, where the serbian forces won a brilliant victory in WWI.
