Cooperation of Srerbia and Poland in the field of defence



First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade with Thomas Siemoniak, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland.

Vucic said that the signing of defense between the two countries opens up opportunities for the military - military, military - economic, military - medical, as well as cooperation in the defense industry, as well as joint participation in international peacekeeping operations.

Vucic said that the two countries have traditionally been good, and expressed gratitude for the support they provide Poland Serbia in the European integration process.

"We are encouraged by the support of the European Union and Poland to Serbia's pro-European policy. Getting the final date for starting negotiations is a deserved result of the Government of Serbia" he stressed adding that Serbia is committed to strengthening economic cooperation, trade between the field and attracting investors.

Siemoniak stressed that Poland offers its full support to the continuation of European integration of Serbia and invited the first Serbian Deputy Prime Minister to visit Poland.

The two ministers after the bilateral meeting, signed the agreement on defense cooperation between the two governments that will enable further development of cooperation in various fields.
