Defence Ministers of Serbia and Russia meet
Vice President of the Serbian Government and Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic, met in Moscow with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during the International Conference on Security.Ministers discussed preparation of agreements on defense cooperation, improving military - combat systems, including such topics as the military - technical, military - and educational - military medical cooperation, promotion activities of the Regional Centre in Nis, as well as joint ventures in the defense industry and joint appearance in the third markets.
"We need to increase exchange between our two militaries," said Vucic thanking Shoigu for his political support which the Russian Federation is providing the protection of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Minister Shoigu welcomed the Serbian delegation confirming his visit to Belgrade in October. He said that early next week a Russian delegation will be paying a visit to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in order to refine the details of the procurement of aircrafts radar systems and anti-aircraft guns for the needs of the Serbina Armed Forces.
