Meeting between the representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Al Dahra Company
Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Miroslav Jovanovic, has met today with representatives of the Al Dahra Company from the UAE, led by Chief Executive Officer Houssam Mahmoud. The meeting was attended also by representatives of the Harrison company, who will be the legal representative of Al Dahra Company in Serbia.
During the meeting, the partners of Al Dahra Company were introduced to the contents of the offer for the joint venture in the area of investment in agriculture, within the Morovic military institution, financial indicators of the performance of our military institution, as well as the prospects and possible modalities for joint projects.CEO of Al Dahra Company Houssam Mahmoud pointed out full interest of the international company based in the United Arab Emirates in making planned investments in agriculture on the land used by the Morovic military institution. In addition, the guests have expressed their interest also in the agricultural buildings which are in use in the Morovic Military Institution.
The Al Dahra Company, in accordance with the common interest and for generating the profit for both parties, will make planned investment of significant financial resources into irrigation and amelioration systems in order to increase production efficiency.
Within their common intentions, the interlocutors stressed that a new Al Dahra – Serbia company will open to act as a legal entity in the market of the Republic of Serbia and in the world.
Delegation of the Al Dahra Company and the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia will continue their activities that, among other things, include a tour of agricultural lands and buildings, as well as coordination of the agreement on technical cooperation with Morovic Military Institution as an organizational unit of the Material Resources Sector of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
