Meeting with representatives of the Association of Disabled War Veterans and Families of Fallen Soldiers of Serbia
In the premises of the Military Medical Academy, a meeting of representatives of the Association of Disabled War Veterans and Families of Fallen Soldiers of all wars and of the Department for Tradition, Standard and Veterans and Military Health Department has been held today.The subject of the meeting was solving the status issues and other issues of disabled war veterans and families of fallen soldiers and solving their social, health and housing issues.
During the meeting, Head of the Department for Tradition, Standard and Veterans, Colonel Sladjan Ristic with his associates presented the results of the work of that Department in implementation of the legislation in the field of social support and protection of military veterans, people with disabilities, as well as care for the families of the wounded and deceased members of the Serbian Armed Forces. Housing issues and health insurance were also discussed.
Representatives of the Association, led by President Janos Nadj pointed to the current situation in the areas related to the population of disabled war veterans and families of fallen soldiers and presented a number of problems they encounter.
