Chief of General Staff visits Macedonia



Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Ljubisa Dikovic spoke today, during his visit to Macedonia, with the Macedonian Army Chief of Staff Major General Goranco Koteski.

Stating that relations with the Macedonian Army are at a high level, General Dikovic said that the Serbian Armed Forces is especially interested in cooperation in the field of training, exercises and advanced training of personnel, as well as in military economic and military medical cooperation.

The two generals agreed that the successful opposition to contemporary security challenges requires association of capacities, because it is not rational for a country to develop all that is needed for the excellent training of its troops.

In this sense, General Dikovic pointed out that capacities of the CBRN Personnel Training Centre for multinational operations in the "South" Base and the capacity of our military education and military health care.

During their visit, the delegation the Serbian Armed Forces was presented capabilities of the Macedonian Army Special Operations Regiment in the Ilinden barracks.
