Briefing Defence Attachés about budget
In the House of Guard in Topcider, today, the regular briefing of defence attachés accredited in our country on the 2013 Defence Budget of the Republic of Serbia was held in the organization of the Budget and Finance Sector of the Ministry of Defence.State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic opened the meeting, and talking with foreign military representatives, led by Colonel Paul Duff, he reviewed the most important features of the defence budget for the year ahead.
Head of the Budget Department Colonel Sasa Trandafilovic, PhD, in his briefing informed the colleagues from foreign armies on the structure of the 2013 Defence Budget in more detail, as well as on novelties and changes compared to the previous years, indicating that the goal is to achieve an optimal cost structure.Participants in the event, in part dedicated to questions and answers were interested in hearing from the representatives of the Ministry of Defence more about the details related to the structure, plans and reform of the defence budget for the year ahead.
