Retired Generals and admirals Visit Defense University
On the occasion of the Day of the University of Defence, the Rectorate of this higher military education establishment was visited today by representatives of the Generals and Admirals Club of Serbia. Led by Retired General Ljubisa Stojimirovic, the delegation of the retired senior officers of our military was introduced to the capacities of the University building, as well as academic units within it.Welcoming them, the Rector of the University of Defence Lieutenant General Professor Miodrag Jevtic expressed satisfaction with today's visit, the first of its kind since the founding of the University.
- The place where you are today is a continuation of what you created during your active service – General Jevtic said, adding that it should be borne in mind that the respect for the past has always been in the service of a better future.
During the meeting, the Rector presented the guests the constituent bodies, as well as the most important aspects of the work of that and higher military education establishment.
The representatives of Generals and Admirals Club visited also the Military Academy.
