Bilateral military cooperation plan with BIH signed



Head of the International Military Cooperation Brigadier General Ljubomir Nikolic, Defence Attache of BiH Ivica Pavic signed a bilateral military cooperation plan for 2013.

Bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia is carried out successfully with a tendency to further improve the quality and quantity.

Dominant areas of cooperation between the two countries remain training and development, military-economic and military-medical cooperation, with a tendency to put special focus on the ever increasing and intense cooperation in defence industry

In the field of military education there has been significant progress. Members of the Armed Forces of BiH participate in the command staff and general staff training, as well as high security and defence studies at the Military Academy, with a continuous exchange of lecturers and instructors in courses related to participation in multinational operations.

The cooperation between the International Training Centre for Peace Support Operations (PSOTC) Butmir and Center for peacekeeping operations in Belgrade is especially significant and intense.

Meetings scheduled at a high level during 2013 will contribute to the specification of the existing and explore new areas of cooperation in the defense field.
