Charges brought up against eight persons



Military police, in collaboration with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, filed criminal charges against eight people, three of whom were brought to the investigative judge of the High Court in Belgrade. They аре suspected of taking advantage of тхеир official position in the military-construction center "Belgrade", Department of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Defence, where they obtained unlawful material gain for one of the suspects, thereby committing the offense of abuse of office.

Investigating judge brought Colonel Miroljub Nikolic, a former chief of the Military Construction Center "Belgrade", Gordana Jokic, head of the management of real estate in the center of the Military Construction "Belgrade" and Milica Popovic, head of the First Division of the Directorate for Property Rights.

Other suspects are Zdenka Benac, Milo Tomasevic, Tanja Milic, Ljubisa Jovanovic and Peter Kostic, employees of the Ministry of Defence.
