Minister Obradovic's lecture in the School of National Defence
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Development Professor Zarko Obradovic gave a lecture to the students of the Military Academy High Security and Defence Studies, Command Staff training and general staff training.In his lecture "Strategy of Higher Education in Serbia - situation and directions in further development” Minister Obradovic presented the situation in the education system of our country, adjustments made to the Bologna process, explaining what the autonomy of higher education institutions means, accreditation of academic programs and also spoke about some of the elements of the Higher Education Act passed in 2005.
The lecture attendees were presented the statistics of higher education in Serbia from 2000 by 2010 such as the number of schools, colleges and universities, the percentage of those unemployed with university education, then higher education in science, the number of researchers and research papers.
The Head of the School of National Defense Colonel Mile Jelic thanked Minister Obradovic for his lecture and pointed out that today's lecture is of great importance both for the students of these classes at the Military Academy, and for the teaching staff of the institution.
