Entering into military records



In the period from 4 February 15t March 2013 the Ministry of Defense shall enter into the military records all males born in the 1995 years and older (1983-1994), who for some reason have not been introduced into the military records of the calendar year in which they turned 18 years of age.

Introduction into military records shall be done at the Defence Ministry’s centres for local self-government by place of residence recruits.

A recruit who is introduced to military records for review should bring with himself:
- ID card and
- Proof of citizenship of the Republic of Serbia or a birth certificate.

The following data are entered into the questionnaire for the introduction of military records are entered name, name of a parent, family name, personal identification number, address and place of residence.

The recruit who is living abroad is introduced into evidence in the competent diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia in the country.

Introduction into military records is a common practice in the armed forces and law as a regulation that remains in force after the adoption of the Decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on the suspension of compulsory military service 15th December 2010.
