Cooperation in culture
In the Office of the Minister of Defense a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Bratislav Petkovic and Director of the Museum of Science and Technology Sanja Zimonjic was held today.
The topic of the meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister for Defense Policy Miroslav Jovanovic, was the cooperation of the Yugoslav Air Force Museum with the Museum of Science and Technology.On that occasion, the Minister of Culture and Information Bratislav Petkovic emphasized the importance of the meeting, which is a form of developing and enhancing the culture at the state level, and of the cultural institutions in the Republic of Serbia.
Taking into account the technical expertise from the scientific and technical aspects of museum work of the Museum of Science and Technology, Director Zimonjic stressed the need to intensify cooperation between the Museum of Science and Technology and the Museum of the Yugoslav Air Force.
Furthermore, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Policy Defense Miroslav Jovanovic stressed the importance of cooperation in culture and found that one of the goals of this cooperation is to implying military cultural institutions to finance projects within the relevant Ministry of Culture and Information, as well as solving and strengthening the status of these institutions at state level.
