Workshop on risk management
During the final phase of implementation of the financial management and control in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, a workshop on "Risk Management" was held today in the House of Guards.The workshop, organized by the Department of Budget and Finance of the Ministry of Defence and the Department for Internal Audit and Budget Inspection of the Ministry of Finance and Economy was attended by the representatives of the defense system.
The Head of the Department for Budget and Finance and Budget Coordinator for financial business processes Colonel Sasa Trandafilovic welcomed the participants and introduced the current activities carried out in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army in the implementation of financial management and control. He expressed his hope that the result of this workshop would be the First registry of strategic risks in the defense system.
At the workshop the Head of Department for the harmonization and control of financial management Ljubinko Stanojevic, presented a methodology for risk management through all stages of the process - identification, evaluation and ranking of risks and formulation of corrective measures for identified risks.The workshop on "Risk Management" was implemented in order to harmonize these stages with a unique risk management methodology for the users of public funds.
