New Year's gala concert in Sava Centar
In the hall of the "Sava Centar" venue in honor of the upcoming holidays Suzana Savic Suvakovic, one of the most important ladies of our opera scene gave a performance on Friday night.
The lady was accompanied by the Ministry of Defence Art ensemble "Stanislav Binicki" the choir of the Cultural Artistic Society "Svetozar Markovic" from Novi Sad, tenor Giacomo Pati from Italy, the master of the flute Bora Dugic, and another pleasant surprise of the evening - an actor, but also a great singer, Nikola Kojo. All this was done under the baton of Vesna Souc.New Year's concert program was conceived in the spirit of the holidays, and the hall resounded with playful and well-known classical melodies: Oci cornije, La donna e mobile, Con Te Partiro, Caruso, Brindisi, O sole mio ... Seventeen beautiful Italian, Neapolitan, Spanish and Russian songs and romances, three vocals, great choir and orchestra of the famous, all contributed to the festive atmosphere which was enjoyed by the whole audience.
