Informing foreign DAs
In the organization of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defence Policy Sector and the HR Sector briefing for foreign DAs on HR issues was held today.After an introductory speech of Assistant Minister for Human Resources Jovan Mijakovic, chiefs of the departments for personnel, military duties and tradition, standard and veterans informed the DAs.
Foreign DAs showed greater interest for the role and tasks of the MoD Personel Council, a new system of selection and the reasons for introducing it, as well as the process of selecting personnel and the standards used by the GS for selecting its members, as well as for the competences of recruits centers in Nis and Leskovac for the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.
On behalf of foreign DAs the present were addressed by vicepresident of the Belgrade Association of Foreign DAs and the DA of Switzerland Colonel Marcus Wiedmer.
