Intensifying cooperation with China
Five-member delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, headed by the Chief of the Defence Minister's cabinet CBrigadier General Vaso Gujic, paid a visit to the People's Republic of China. The aim of the visit was to intensify defense cooperation between the two countries. Members of the delegation visited Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai as well as military units and institutions such as the 6th Armoured Division and the Office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Defense of China.Official talks were held with Major General C Guovey, Deputy Chief of the Office of External Relations, Major General Wang Haitao, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Nanjing Military Region, Senior Colonel Chuanvao He, deputy commander of the Shangai garrison Senior Colonel and with Jin Yu, Chief of Staff of the 6 . Armoured Division.
Defence cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of China is an example of good relations between the two countries and their armies, and an upward trend. It confirms the strong commitment of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Defence to build strategic partnerships at the highest level possible.
