Seminar on "Capabilities-based planning - profiles of capabilities
As part of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Center for Civil-Military Relations in Monterey (USA), in the Strategic Planning Department, Sector for Defense Policy a five-day seminar on "Capabilities-based planning - profiles of capabilities."The seminar was led by the Chief of the Strategic Planning Department, Major General Bozidar Forca, and was attended by representatives of the organizational unit of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Serbian Army who are in charge of addressing this issue.
The three-member team of experts from the Center for Civil-Military Relations was headed by Professor Jan Muramets.The attitude of the expert team from Monterrey is that the process of strategic planning and development of the Army of Serbia is based on capabilities comparable with such processes in the best armed forces of the world.
Both sides agreed that the experience of foreign armed forces, presented as lessons learned, would contribute to improvement of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army in improving the knowledge of the activity.
