Cooperation between the United Kingdom and Serbia in the field of military health



Delegation of the Military Health of the UK Ministry of Defence, headed by Assistant Chief of Defence Staff for Health, the UK Armed Forces, Major General Jeremy Rowan is in a visit to the Military Health Department. Guests from the United Kingdom were received by the Head of the Military Health Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Colonel Prof. Dr. Zoran Popovic and his associates, who presented the history, tasks and organization of the military health system of the Republic of Serbia.

After the meeting, both delegations pointed out that there is ample room for further improvement of military medical cooperation, particularly in the care of injuries in combat, NBC medical care, the field of military psychiatry, preventive medicine and military medical training which supports the implementation of partnership obligations from the competence of the Military Health Department.

The talks were attended by the British Defence Attaché in Belgrade Colonel William English.
