Honorary salvo on occasion of the Armistice Day



The members of SAF Guard marked today the Armistice Day in World War I with 10 salvo volleies from six artillery arms at Kalemegdan terrace.

In commemoration of Armistice Day, SAF CHOD Lt. Gen.
Ljubisa Dikovic, as the Representative of the President of the Republic of Serbia, will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Hero on Avala, on Sunday 11 November.

Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will participate in marking of Armistice Day by laying wreaths at the French military cemetery at 10.15 am, at the Memorial Vault to Belgrade defenders in First World War at 11 am at the Memorial Vault of the Russian soldiers who perished in World War I at 11:45 and at the Commonwealth Cemetery at 12.30.
