Talks on standardization in the defence system



Two-day talks were held in the Department for Standardization of the Defence Policy Sector. This is one in a series of planned and established forms of cooperation which are implemented between the Republic of Serbia and the Czech Republic, which is aimed at sharing experience in the administrative, operational and material standardization.

A two-member delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic was led the Miklus Stankievic, director of the Defense Standardization at the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.

The delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces was led by the Chief of the Strategic Planning Department for Defence, Major General Bozidar Forca, and the delegation also included representatives of the organizational unit of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Serbian Army who directly deal with issues of standardization.

The Czech delegation presented very detailed information on the policy of standardization in the Czech Republic, as well as the organization and functioning of this very important sector in the defense and even at state level.

Both sides agreed that the exchange of experience was very useful for theory and practice in the field of standardization of the defense system of both countries.
