The parliamentary group " Indonesia-Serbia Friendship," is visiting MMA



The parliamentary group " Indonesia-Serbia Friendship," of the National Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, which is paying an official visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, visited the Military Medical Academy today. Indonesian delegation, led by Milton Pakpahan, also including the ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Belgrade Semuel Samson were received by the Deputy Chief of the Military Medical Academy Colonel prof. Dragan Dincic with his associates.

Colonel Dincic acquainted the guests with MMA treatment procedures, education and scientific research stating that the signed agreement on defense cooperation with Indonesia from 201 made an excellent basis for the promotion of cooperation in the field of military medicine.

Ambassador Samson conveyed that Indonesia has great experience with the education and training of their doctors to MMA in the past which is why Indonesia had interest in continuing this kind of cooperation. Also, given that Indonesia is very active in peacekeeping missions around the world Indonesia is interested in considering the possibility of cooperation and related medical teams in peacekeeping missions.

The head of delegation Pakpahan remarked that the Indonesian side was most interested in sharing knowledge and experience in surgery and transplantation, training and specialization of the Indonesian doctors at the MMA, as well as providing medical services to Indonesian citizens MMA.

Both parties agreed that there was a common interest that this solid foundation for communication in defining specific activities and cooperation in military medicine should be raised to a higher level.
