Foreign military representatives visit Odbrana MC fair booth

Foreign military representatives accredited to the Republic of Serbia visited Odbrana Media Centre booth. The visit was organized by the Public Relations Department and the Department for International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence.

Military representatives from Romania, Ukraine, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, USA, Bulgaria, Slovakia and NATO Military Liaison Office visited the fair booth and had the opportunity to have a look at the publications of the Odbrana Media Centre.

For the Defence Attaché of the Swiss Confederation, Colonel Markus Widmer, it was for the fourth year that he visits the International Belgrade Book Fair.

- These books are interesting to me because of my job. I am a defence attaché and I have to be aware of the current situation in the area. Otherwise, I like to read books and I find a lot of reading material from my other areas of interest, Colonel Markus said adding that it is extremely important to have the opportunity to present this kind of publishing at the book fair.

Lieutenant Colonel Emil Sipocki, Defence Attaché of the Republic of Bulgaria, has visited the booth of Odbrana MC at the fair for the third time.

- There are interesting publications, and the booth is great as always. I am especially pleased to see how many publications are dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the Serbian military aviation, because the Bulgarian Air Force was formed the same year. Now I can compare what we published in honour of that jubilee, and what Odbrana MC has published, Lieutenant Colonel Sipocki said.

Director of Odbrana MC, Lieutenant Colonel Slavoljub Markovic introduced the foreign military representatives to the work of our house, its history, publishing and works.
