Cooperation with the United Kingdom
Delegation of the UK Ministry of Defence, headed by Director General of the Department for Security Policy, Steve McCarthy, has been today in the working visit to the Republic of Serbia.
During the conversation with the Assistant Minister for Defence Policy, Miroslav Jovanovic, the British side was presented the priorities and the foreign policy goals of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the perception of security risks in the region and our view of further improving of political and security situation.Bilateral military cooperation is mutually rated as good and regular meetings at the higher level represent a right way for further quantitative improvement of cooperation. It is expected that a new dimension to the cooperation will be given by the announced visit of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic to London.
