Army donates piano to Kraljevo music school
Commander of the Training Command Brigadier General Dusan Stojanovic and the principal of Kraljevo's music school "Stevan Mokranjac" Biljana Mirjanic signed in Kraljevo agreement on granting the piano educational institution.Command of the Army Training Centre started a procedure of donating the piano after the Serbian Army declared redundant the piano of the brand Petrof, and created the conditions that for the instrument to be donated to the Music School in Kraljevo.
According to General Stojanovic the army, after the earthquake, which in November 2010 hit the city on Ibar, when it suffered considerable damage along with the school "Stevan Mokranjac" on several occasions assisted in repairing the damage."Following the decision of Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic, today I am here as a representative of the Serbian Army and the defense system, with the task of presenting this piano school personnel, so that in the future all school program can be implemented," said General Stojanovic, noting that instrument was previously repaired and restored in collaboration with the Music School in Pozarevac.
"This is not the first and only time that our Department of Defense and the Army have helped. After the earthquake, Army units located in Kraljevo have helped us a lot in the relocating and buying new equipment, and today's grant is a continuance of such a good cooperation, "said the principal, Biljana Mirjanic, expressing hope that other ministries and Serbian governmental institutions take this example.
