PRESS RELEASE
This morning around 10:15 am in Nova Pazova a SAF air force plane -type V-54 LASTA crashed.
Both pilots ejected from the aircraft, where one pilot is not in any life danger, while the other has strained serious injuries and has been transported to the MMA. The pilots were on a regular technical aircraft test flight.
Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic has ordered immediate investigation. Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic and State Secretary of Defense Aleksandar Nikolic, on the order of the Minister Vucic, shall visit the injured pilot.
The plane crashed into Kralja Petra Street in Nova Pazova and according to initial reports no citizen of Nova Pazova has been reported injured.
